Quiet and tranquil waterside dining
September 6th 2008 09:13
In a quiet spot just under the Roseville bridge is a small restaurant hideaway. It's called Echo on the Marina and is right in the heart of the beautiful Echo Point Park in Roseville looking right out to middle harbour.
This small but cosy cafe restaurant is accessible by car, boat and seaplane if you feel like it and is a little different to the normal waterfront dining. Unlike the rowdy beachside or harbour side waterfronts, dining here is like retreating away from the hustle and bustle of Sydney, and although only around 5 mins away from the busy Chatswood, it still feels as relaxing as ever.
The menu is modern Australian and has seafood and meat varieties to suit all tastes. They all have recommended wines to match as well. The Grilled sirloin steak is tender and juicy and the friendly staff made our visit even more pleasant.
The restaurant's location makes it convenient for a short walk into the park's trails, and limited street parking is available.
Echo on the Marina is open for breakfast and lunch only and reservations recommended.

I work in Chatswood and never knew this place existed and I drive over the Roseville Bridge every day!!!
Thanks for introducing it
