More Photos of CityHouse Vietnamese Restaurant

May 18th 2006 13:23
It's not that I don't like CityHouse; in fact I really like some of their food. It's just that they provide some really photo material.

Like this one. I thought the choice of 'Tsunami' drink was pretty inappropriate.

Although they do make good Viet food. Like this pork and prawn salad; although I much prefer the one at Non La, this one comes with prawn crackers and complimentary tea. And Amy recommends the lemongrass and chilli chicken stir fry. Good times.

What's that drink? Is it a berry-flavoured sake?

Yeah it's a sake cocktail; although I can't read what flavour, I assume some sort of berry, at least for the red one.

Ooo I used to go to that place for goi cuon (por/prawn rice paper rolls) and pho (Vietnamese beef noodle soup). Then my obsession with laksa and teriyaki chicken overpowered all other food types.

I'm really not a fan of these salad and meat type deals. I stand by the lemongrass and chilli chicken stirfry - hot all the way and not so annoying to eat =P

Tsunami is quite a nice sake cocktail available at a few Japanese restaurants I regularly frequent.

The red one, if I remember correctly, is raspberry and the blue one is definitely Lychee which, imo, is the better of the two.
